Esacore LF

Esacore LF is a sandwich panel based on core honeycomb aluminium and phenol  glass
surfaces.

This solution has been developed for railways and naval applications  where  in addition to extremely low weight (about 1.5 kg for a panel of 10 mm) there is a requirement for resistance to fire.

The panel is configured as suitable to be subsequently painted or covered with fabrics,
 leather finishing and decorative high pressure laminates.

In addition to this version with glass phenolic, this panel can be covered with translucent glass surfaces with epoxy (Esacore LE) giving to the panel an appearance of great impact, allowing to visibility through the surface of the honeycomb core of  aluminium.

The phenolic glass surfaces can be of different thickness, ranging from a minimum of 0.20 mm to a maximum of 0.5 mm depending on the application.
