Monocore 3D - ST - FP

MONOCORE® is a sandwich panel based on a full three-dimensional glass fabric impregnated with phenolic resin developed and patented by Metalleido Components Srl, a Company of the Abet Group.
This integral structure is free from delamination.
The production technique uses the same fabric used for the pile: the final stage of the cut of the two surfaces is not easily made.
The fabric is then impregnated with phenolic resin to obtain a flat panel Combining extreme lightness and rigidity.
It is supplied without covers in the basic version or with various decorative surfaces; It is cut in either a standard format or customized, curved with a radius of  minimum 10 mm.
These panels can be worked with standard woodworking machinery.

Standard format: 1200x2400 mm
Thickness: from 3 up to 25  ± 0,3 mm

MONOCORE® is the only three-dimensional panel with a block structure: not only does it offer excellent
resistance to impact, but also to delamination, thus overcoming  what is a major problem of sandwich  panels.

Besides solving the problem of delamination, Metalleido Components has also tackled the question of weight, creating with MONOCORE® an extremely strong structure but also very light.
The fibers and resins used in the manufacture MONOCORE® have been carefully selected to guarantee excellent fire resistance and it is free from toxic fumes. In fact it has achieved  international certifications for use in marine, aircraft and railways sectors utilising weaving techniques such as "velvet" for the glass fabric.
MONOCORE® has an outer surface on which can be applied, without any problems, fibers, laminates, wood or melamine's, which become integral with the underlying structure, offering a wide range of decorative options.

Metalleido has developed a technical assistance service that supports and directs  the designer throughout the project cycle and application by providing: panelling, cutting to size, joints and production of special curved parts.
